Allie and her Macbook

You, me, and a little bit of everything else.

“As the skin rips off, I cherish the revolting thought that even if I quit, there’s not a chance in hell I’d stop.”

I promised myself a few days ago that I was going to stop picking at the scabs that I have now had for over 3 years. I am probably going to get gangrene and I’d like to avoid that, if at all possible.

Anyway I cut all of my nails off so that I wouldn’t have anything to pick with. Unfortunately that doesn’t work too well. I need some serious motivation, or some better methods. I was thinking of putting bandaids over them so that I can’t scratch them. I’ve done it before and that also didn’t work.

I also can’t seem to stop tearing the skin off of the area around my fingernails. I am sick to death of this bad habit and I want it GONE.

How did you get rid of YOUR bad habit?

(Title is a quote from a song “Bad Habit” by The Dresden Dolls)
